Itinerary Summary
Morning – Early Pickup & Drive to Ngorongoro
We collect you from your Arusha hotel before dawn (around 5:30 AM). Coffee in hand, you journey through misty highlands, small villages, and winding roads up to the crater rim. As the sun begins to rise, you’ll stop at the viewpoint to look into the Earth’s soul as you experience Ngorongoro from the top.
Mid-Morning – Crater Descent & Game Drive
You’ll descend into the crater and begin your full 5–6-hour game drive across the crater floor. Exploring the very best Ngorongoro has to offer; Lions yawn under trees. Buffalo graze in small herds. Black rhinos keep their distance, and flamingos shimmer across Lake Magadi.

Lunch – Picnic by the Hippo Pool

After one last game circuit, you ascend the crater rim and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving back at your lodge by early evening (between 5:30–6:30 PM), just as the city starts to light up.
