Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha → Southern Serengeti via Ngorongoro

We’ll pick you up right from your hotel in Arusha or the airport. After a warm briefing and a cup of strong Tanzanian coffee, we hit the road through the Great Rift Valley. Around midday, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater—also known as Africa’s Eden. Here, lions, zebras, flamingos, rhinos, antelopes, wildebeests—you name it. Then, continue to the southern Serengeti where the adventure truly begins.

After lunch, continue through rolling highlands into the southern Serengeti, where golden plains stretch beyond the horizon.

Day 2: Southern Serengeti game drives

Wake up to birdsong and giraffes on the horizon. Today, you’ll explore the calving grounds where wildebeest drop their young—one of the most moving parts of the migration. Day 3: Central Serengeti “endless plain”

After a hearty bush breakfast, you’ll set out across sweeping plains toward Seronera, the heart of the Serengeti. This is where it all comes alive—leopards lounging in sausage trees, hippos grunting in the pools, and elephants bathing in slow-moving rivers. Expect surprises. Expect awe.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti river crossing

Day 5: Off-road adventure & Maasai village visit

With a 4×4 you cut tracks into hidden corners, finding leopard prints and solitary elephants grazing beneath fever trees. In the afternoon, we visit a nearby Maasai village, where warriors welcome you with stories and song. It’s a humbling, heart-opening experience that reminds you Africa is more than wildlife—it’s soul.

Day 6: Sunrise photographic drive & sundowner outing

At dawn, you’re back out for a final game drive—zebra stallions lock eyes across the plains, hyenas laugh in the distance, watch as predators finish their night hunt and grazers emerge cautiously for breakfast. Back at camp, unwind with a book or your camera roll (you’ll need to clear space!). Later, we toast to your journey with a cold drink as the sun dips below the horizon.

Day 7: Serengeti → Arusha return

Depart Serengeti early morning. You journey back toward Ngorongoro, stop for crater-rim tea, then transfer by road back to Arusha. Memories of migration will linger long after you touch down at your lodge. After a relaxed morning, we’ll get you back to Arusha—by road or bush flight, depending on your preference. But your heart? That’s staying in the Serengeti for a long time.
